WATER BLESSING

When we ask the Grandmother and Grandfather spirits to bless the water in the four directions; and then ask sky Father and Earth mother as well, we can also ask for a healing elixir.

We first find the four directions, North, South, East and West. Beginning at the East, we raise the container of water (glass, copper, stainless steel or ceramic) to the East and ask the Grandmother and Grandfather spirits to bless, energize and make a healing elixir. We repeat at the other three directions, South, West, and then North.Finally we raise the container to the sky and ask Sky Father to bless, energize the water and then the same to the Earth Mother.
